Beyonce &Amp; Lady Gaga Heels Ballet Heels Go From Fetish To Mainstream

By Virginia Davison

Ballet heels hit the fashion and fetish scenes thanks to a push from celebrities and designers alike

Thanks to celebrities such as Beyonce and Lady Gaga, there is a big demand for ballet heels.

Meg White dusted off this trend in the White Stripes video “Blue Orchid,” followed by Pink in her video “U & Ur Hand.” Christina Aguilera and Rihanna both also wore them briefly in their videos for “Hurt” and “Umbrella.”

However Beyonce broke all the barriers when she & her backup dancers, sported the fetish shoes in her “Green Light” video. Lady Gaga not to be outdone is also seen posing in a leather cat suit with these sky-high concoctions.

Ballet heels have even made their debut on the runway recently; Alexander McQueen included the 10 inch tall Armadillo shoe in his Spring/Summer 2010 fashion shoe. The trend has begun to run wild thanks to these appearances.

Even though they have made a big push with celebrities and in the underground fetish scene, these fetish shoes are nothing new. They have been around since 1896 when they were hand crafted in Europe. Another common predecessor to ballet boots is the Viennese fetish boot which came about around 1900. These boots sported a dramatic 11-inch heel. It was impossible to stand or walk in these boots as the heel was actually longer than the sole of the shoe.

This contemporary style of fetish shoes is designed in order to force your foot stay en pointe, just like a ballerina. Ballet heels are the perfect combination of the pointe shoe and the highest, skinniest heel imaginable. The wearer is forced to stand with all of their weight on the tips of their toes with the help of the high heel. They are usually laced up in order to make them as tight as possible. This allows the foot to be kept in the shoe bed more easily.

These sexy little numbers are not for everyday wear as the foot is almost made to stand parallel to the ground; if these shoes were worn for over a period of time they would cause your foot to cramp. These shoes, rather, should be saved for erogenous appeal.

Walking in Ballet heels will at first take some practice, it is important to strengthen both the calf & thigh musles & also stretch the instep to become comfortable even wearing the ballet heels, let alone walking in them.

Most ladies will adopt the heel to toe walking technique as this is more familiar to them from wearing other styles of high heels. Unfortunately ballet heels are designed to “toe walk” with the heels only being a means of ensuring the wearer stays on her toes. This means the heels are exceedingly thin “Micro Stilettos” therefore balancing on the heel is exceedingly difficult especially as your other foot is only on its toes.

Although heel to toe walking is more popular toe walking is far more graceful but requires perseverance for all but trained ballerinas.

If you want to please someone’s sexual desires, there are plenty of ways to do it with these sky high numbers which ooze sex appeal. They can be found in just about every form imaginable ranging from Mary Jane’s to over the knee boots. Check out the selections available and let your cravings go wild.

Iranian International Master Dorsa Derakhshani discusses her chess career with Wikinews

Tuesday, April 14, 2020

In February 2017, the Iranian Chess Federation announced two teenage chess players, Dorsa Derakhshani and her younger brother Borna Derakhshani, were banned from representing the national team. The federation announced their decision although Dorsa Derakhshani had previously decided and informed the chess federation she did not wish to play for Iran.

Dorsa Derakhshani is currently 21 years old and holds the International Master (IM) as well as Woman Grand Master (WGM) titles. Her brother, Borna, plays for the English Federation and holds the FIDE Master title.

Dorsa Derakhshani was banned since she did not wear a hijab, an Islamic headscarf, while competing at the Tradewise Gibraltar Chess Festival in January 2017. Under the laws of Islamic Republic of Iran, hijab is a mandatory dress code. Her brother Borna Deraskhsani was banned for playing against Israeli Grand Master (GM) Alexander Huzman at the same tournament. Iran does not recognise the existence of Israel, and previously, Irani athletes have avoided playing against Israeli athletes.

Mehrdad Pahlavanzadeh, the president of the country’s chess federation, explained the decision to ban the players saying, “As a first step, these two will be denied entry to all tournaments taking place in Iran and in the name of Iran, they will no longer be allowed the opportunity to be present on the national team.” ((fa))Farsi language: ?????? ????? ?? ??? ??? ?? ??? ????? ?? ?? ???? ???????? ?? ?? ????? ? ?? ??? ????? ?????? ??????? ????? ??????? ? ???? ???? ???? ?? ??? ??? ?? ??????? ????. Mlm And Branding Finding The Best Attraction Marketing System

MLM and Branding – Finding the Best Attraction Marketing System

by

mlmalpha8778

This text discusses how you can choose the most effective and handiest attraction advertising system. Often, an attraction advertising system is most helpful with both community advertising or affiliate marketing online on the Web, however the concepts are efficient for many any enterprise model. We cannot talk about any specific

system

that is out there, slightly, our purpose is just to offer criteria for choosing among those available on the market or building your own.

In case you have not answered the question in your mind whether or not you need an attraction advertising system, then think about the following. How would you like to connect with people who are already curious about what you’re doing vs. wandering around in buying malls or calling all your friends and family about your latest “slam-dunk” business opportunity? Or how many people in sales really take pleasure in making cold calls? Despite their technical expertise, every business owner needs to interact in branding of an important part of their business, “You, Inc.” This is attraction advertising’s core principle. So what are the standards used to pick an internet advertising system? In reality this can depend upon the particular advertising needs of each individual. For example, not everyone will need a web-based advertising strategy, but still see the value of private branding. Nearly everyone will need to participate in branding “You, Inc.” An entire attraction advertising system will embrace personal branding, landing/capture pages with a beneficial supply, sales page, and autoresponder for e-mail comply with-up. Most methods will embrace all these parts, although some business models might be better served by a custom-made approach. * Personal Branding – The simplest mechanism for private branding is a WordPress blog. Free weblog websites, resembling Blogger.com are helpful for some, however not recommended. As a substitute of branding your mum or dad firm and persevering with to “donate” prospects to celebrities or opponents within the firm who’ve created their “model,” it’s best to have your individual Web presence. * Touchdown/Seize Web page – In easiest kind, a weblog itself can function as a seize page. e.g., providing free coaching or invaluable content material in alternate to your prospect’s electronic mail address. Seize pages function higher than a weblog, since they’re devoted to a single goal vs. a weblog which has many extra hyperlinks and different attention-grabbing content material that will distract from the principle purpose. * Gross sales Web page – Now that the prospect has accepted your invaluable free provide, it’s normally time to make a primary closing attempt. This provide needs to be at a low value level, below $forty normally, and provide extraordinarily excessive value. The best gross sales pages are extraordinarily prolonged, but contained on a single web page format, together with your story, options, and many testimonials from completely happy customers

.

* Autoresponder/electronic mail system – Now that you have established a relationship with the prospect and given him/her important worth, an electronic mail marketing campaign through autoresponder is efficient and environment friendly to construct a deeper relationship along with your prospect. Private contact through different accessible means is suggested along with the autoresponder marketing campaign, together with phone and/or snail mail. Now that you recognize what the factors are to your attraction advertising and marketing system, you may higher consider how the accessible programs compare. Sooner or later, we’ll consider the main systems available right now vs. developing a system from “scratch.”

Disney animator Ollie Johnston dies at 95

Wednesday, April 16, 2008

American animator Ollie Johnston, the last of Disney’s so-called “Nine Old Men”, has died at the age of 95.

Johnston died of natural causes on Monday in Sequim, Washington, according to Walt Disney Studios Vice President Howard E. Green.

Johnston worked on many of the Disney’s classic films, including Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937), Pinnochio (1940), Fantasia (1940), Bambi (1942), and many others.

Ollie was part of an amazing generation of artists.

Johnston worked extensively with his best friend Frank Thomas, a fellow “old man” who died in 2004. The pair met at Stanford University in the 1930s and worked together until Thomas’ death. They retired from animation in 1978, but remained popular speakers and authors about Disney and animation.

“Ollie was part of an amazing generation of artists, one of the real pioneers of our art, one of the major participants in the blossoming of animation into the art form we know today,” said Roy E. Disney.

Johnston devoted much of his retirement to writing and lecturing, but perhaps even more to model trains, a field in which he became considered one of the world’s foremost experts.

Ollie Johnston’s last film was The Fox and the Hound (1981) on which he worked as a supervisor.

Wikinews interviews former Salt Lake City mayor and 2012 presidential candidate Rocky Anderson

Wednesday, December 21, 2011

Former Salt Lake City mayor and human rights activist Rocky Anderson took some time to discuss his 2012 U.S. presidential campaign and the newly-created Justice Party with Wikinews reporter William S. Saturn.

Anderson served as mayor of Salt Lake City for eight years (2000–2008) as a member of the Democratic Party. During his tenure, he enacted proposals to reduce the city’s carbon emissions, reformed its criminal justice system, and positioned it as a leading sanctuary for refugees. After leaving office, Anderson grew critical of the Democratic Party’s failure to push for impeachment against President George W. Bush, and for not reversing policies on torture, taxes, and defense spending. He left the party earlier this year and announced that he would form a Third party.

Anderson officially established the Justice Party last week during a press conference in Washington D.C.. He proclaimed “We the people are powerful enough to end the perverse government-to-the-highest-bidder system sustained by the two dominant parties…We are here today for the sake of justice — social justice, environmental justice and economic justice.” The party promotes campaign finance reform and is attempting to appeal to the Occupy Wall Street movement. It is currently working on ballot access efforts, and will hold a Founding Convention in February 2012 in Salt Lake City.

Among other issues, Anderson discussed climate change, health care, education, and civil liberties. He detailed his successes as mayor of Salt Lake City, stressed the importance of executive experience, and expressed his views on President Barack Obama and some of the Republican Party presidential candidates. He spoke in depth about former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney, with whom he worked during the 2002 Winter Olympics, and fellow Utahan, former governor and U.S. ambassador to China Jon Huntsman, Jr..

The Best Defender From The Realm Of Dogs

 • Click Here For More Specific Information On:
 • Marc Ching

By Pavel CZ

There are many ways how to train the dog to defend its owner but I believe that there is only one way for the dog to be always ready to protect him.

Its core consists in the fact that dogs as well as people are not always able to recognize which one out of all the strangers who are around has some bad intentions. And because attack is the best defense, best is for the dog to attack any stranger who is getting too close to its owner.

Please realize that the reason is that that as soon as somebody is too close to you and you are so to speak within the reach of his hands, he can suddenly hit you or stab you with a knife and no dog can react as extremely quickly as it is required by this unexpected movement of the attacker that was dangerously close to you.

If I wanted to have such a doggy companion that I could really rely upon, I would want him to show aggressive behavior toward all the strange people. No matter what gender or age. The dog should be aggressive toward all the strangers in any environment and circumstances. It should be trained both in lonely and in public places, both where there are only human enemies and disturbing factors like cats, other dogs or sounds.

As far as particular breeds of dog are concerned, for most people living in a modern human society are most suitable modern and/or civilized breeds of dog, especially short-coated Molossers like Bull Mastiff, Cane Corso or Rottweiler. Most of the time their defense is sufficient and at the same time adequate (= normal biting that will only cause a light or medium injury and that will not straightly endanger the human enemy’s life).

But although in the majority of time is better when the dog will only somewhat hurt the human enemy (by biting his hand, for example), exceptionally there can be extreme enemies, especially on lonely places, and in such a case also extreme way of fighting is needed against them = Ovcharka-type of dogs. Their way of fighting is most dangerous and most effective, and such a dog does not go to only discourage the intruder. He goes to kill him (however, sometimes when the defeated intruder lies on the ground without any movement, some of these dogs will not finish him off).

So if we were asked who is the best defender from the realm of dogs, we should answer that it is such an Ovcharka-type of dog that is aggressive toward all the strangers in all the circumstances. It usually means a big Wolfhound (Caucasian Ovcharka, Kangal, Central Asian Ovcharka, Anatolian Shepherd and similarly) who underwent the necessary training in defense of its owner in various environment including public places.

Of course, the dog owner must sufficiently secure his dog in order to prevent it from unnecessary attacks on innocent people. So when on a walk the dog is securely held on a leash (and also fitted with a muzzle when in public places) and when at home, the design of fence and doors must be good enough to prevent the dog from getting outside and attacking people.

As a matter of interest, I believe that laws should change. As it is said: Your house is your castle. Once some stranger has entered your premise without your permission, you should encounter no bigger legal problems if your dog has killed him. It can happen, because for instance just the big Wolfhounds I have already mentioned often attack with the intention of killing since it is natural for them. Laws could also be more tolerant in the case that you keep your dog on a leash and some stranger will approach you too closely regardless of your warning that he should not come to you that near. If he came too close despite your warning and your dog has torn his face off, I think that you should only be punished minimally (e.g. some very low fine).

Tim Curry, TV premiere screenings, cosplay feature at Fan Expo Canada

Wednesday, September 6, 2017

Toronto pop culture convention Fan Expo Canada has wrapped for another year. It ran from Thursday to Sunday. Major panels included Tim Curry and the cast of Rocky Horror Picture Show, Beauty and the Beast voices Robby Benson and Paige O’Hara, actors Kathleen Turner, Richard Dreyfuss, Anthony Daniels, Felicia Day, and child leads from Stranger Things. Canadian television channel Space hosted a Star Trek: Discovery panel with seven lead cast members. On the heels of sister event Toronto Comic Con’s Degrassi reunion event, the lineup included a twentieth anniversary panel with the stars of another Canadian high school television series, Student Bodies.

Heading into its fourth and final season, attendees got a chance to see the season opener of Star Wars: Rebels on Saturday, followed by a panel. The event has had a continuing relationship with the series, screening other episodes previously. The second season premiere of the sci-fi series Travelers was accompanied by a panel including Eric McCormack. Canadian true-crime drama Bad Blood had its world premiere. Other debuts included broadcaster City with the Canadian premiere of Ghosted, with Craig Robinson in attendance, Teletoon with the Canadian premiere of Hotel Transylvania: The Series, and YTV with the new animated series Mysticons.

Anime fans could watch episodes of their favourite shows, including AKB0048, Otaku No Video, Hana Yamata, My Hero Academia, Fairy Tail, and Penguindrum.

The book Star Wars Made Easy, targeted to non-fans to get up to speed on the fictional universe’s various facts and figures, was ironically launched by DK Canada for a room of fans of the franchise. Author Christian Blauvelt answered questions from the audience on topics like his opinion on Midiclorians — he understands fan contention, but suggested that science and religion can co-exist, like in the real world — quizzed the audience on trivia, and signed copies of his book.

Some panels were quite ahead of the curve: one on Star Wars costume and prop building discussed building Porgs figures, despite the film The Last Jedi not being released to theatres yet.

York Regional Police were at the event with United and Unity, two brightly lit characters of their own creation. The force received funding in 2014 from the Provincial Anti-Violence Intervention Strategy to create a short film featuring the character United, receiving positive recognition locally. “Our United superhero program is part of our on-going efforts to connect with our community and show police in a different light,” YRP Constable Andy Pattenden told Wikinews. He explains that the officers who developed the project have a background in film-making, and “serve as an opportunity for us to start a conversation with youth and connect with them at a non-traditional level.”

Star Wars character Jabba the Hutt, a puppet in the 1983 film Return of the Jedi, was re-created by the 501st Legion as an animatronic. The 501st is a fan group that dresses like the series villains for charitable events, particularly those raising funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The new addition to their annual display commanded long lineups throughout the day, from con-goers looking to donate in exchange for a photo-op with the massive, slug-like alien.

As with most major conventions, cosplayers were numerous, ranging from simple outfits that wouldn’t raise an eyebrow if worn from day-to-day, to elaborately-created costumes and giant props. Outfits recognized by Wikinews’ reporter ranged from classic characters like the 1960s version of Batgirl and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, a character created by Walt Disney in 1927, before Mickey, to 2010s characters from creative works like Undertale, Disney Descendants, League of Legends, and Adventure Time. Few characters are too obscure, if they appeal to a fan: the female avatar of “hivemind” character Unity, from a single episode of Rick and Morty, was spotted. One woman “biting” another woman’s arm would be cause for concern most places, but at a pop culture convention, it simply means that “Lilo” is re-enacting a scene with “Mertle”, as seen in the film Lilo and Stitch.

Wikinews talked with Cheryl, the co-host of the weekly video series “Our Didnee Side”, who was dressed as Gadget Hackwrench, a mouse from the 1990s television series Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers. Speaking for both of the hosts, she said their passion for Disney has “exploded” since starting the YouTube channel, and that they are both “creators. We can’t seem to go a day without making something. We love doing Disney cosplay because it is like a beacon for other people in the fandom to come find us in a sea of other characters.” Conventions like Fan Expo Canada become “a great opportunity to meet like-minded Disney fans, and to possibly escape for the weekend from our ‘boring human’ lives.”File:FXC17 Stay Puft.jpg

Adrianna Prosser, host of Toronto geek culture community website Geektropolis, spent part of the convention Fan Expo Canada 2017 as the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. She told Wikinews that “geeking in Toronto is always such a joy, what with amazing cosplay and passionate fandoms coming together at Fan Expo!” She explained that the site tries to keep the feeling of the event going all year, featuring local creators and “geeky” fans, in an effort to bring the community closer together.

Party game Cards Against Humanity — intriguingly available under a non-commercial Creative Commons license — offered a “Free Apologies from An American” booth, where a representative offered regrets to the largely Canadian visitors. The booth’s curtains came into use at least once on Friday, closing when a Trump cosplayer reached the front of the line.

Latest trial of the One Laptop Per Child running in India; Uruguay orders 100,000 machines

Thursday, November 8, 2007

India is the latest of the countries where the One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) experiment has started. Children from the village of Khairat were given the opportunity to learn how to use the XO laptop. During the last year XO was distributed to children from Arahuay in Peru, Ban Samkha in Thailand, Cardal in Uruguay and Galadima in Nigeria. The OLPC team are, in their reports on the startup of the trials, delighted with how the laptop has improved access to information and ability to carry out educational activities. Thailand’s The Nation has praised the project, describing the children as “enthusiastic” and keen to attend school with their laptops.

Recent good news for the project sees Uruguay having ordered 100,000 of the machines which are to be given to children aged six to twelve. Should all go according to plan a further 300,000 machines will be purchased by 2009 to give one to every child in the country. As the first to order, Uruguay chose the OLPC XO laptop over its rival from Intel, the Classmate PC. In parallel with the delivery of the laptops network connectivity will be provided to schools involved in the project.

The remainder of this article is based on Carla G. Munroy’s Khairat Chronicle, which is available from the OLPC Wiki. Additional sources are listed at the end.
