How To Let The Divine Do The Heavy Lifting

Click Here For More Specific Information On:

Submitted by: Jenenne Macklin

There are some things in our lives that are too heavy for us to lift! Financial shifts, unemployment, alcoholism, some family decisions, the experiences of friends, co-workers, actually most things on our to do list really are God s business. They are too heavy for us to lift and yet we keep trying to fix them, change them, heal them, and pray for them. We get to make a choice to let the Divine do the heavy lifting while we focus on living, creating, and getting out of the way!

It is probably surprising to think that we focus so much attention on what we have no control over, what s not our business, out of habit for sure, but also not trusting the Presence within to handle our affairs. I scrutinized my to do list and realized that so many things on it that were God s business. From shifting my financial experiences, being the vessel for the unfolding of new ideas and thoughts, being a pure conduit for greater awareness of who I really am, family members, co-workers, the world as well as anything I d been trying to fix, change, heal, worry about, and even pray about. My business is to be present in each moment, to keep myself attuned to the Presence within, to rave about the wonderful things showing up in my life, without judgment. So the question is how much can you let the divine orchestrate perfect divine order in your life? How much can you get out of God s way?

Getting out of the way is the key to letting the divine do the heavy lifting. So, let s talk about how to let go. First, set the intention within your being, to let go; to accept that it is too heavy for you to lift and that, actually, each person is connected to the Divine and when we get out of the way, we allow God to do what God wants to do, without our help.

Next, take everything, everything to the Presence within. I don t mean take it and keep talking about it, take it asking or discussing the solution you want, or take it and worry about it (you re still in the way), but take it to the Presence within and let it go. You do this literally by writing everything that is too big for me to handle on your God list and then put it away. Instead, stay tuned for inspired thoughts or urges to act. When you are feeling good, and your energy is up, and you re allowing the flow of Life to carry you along, you ll feel inspired to act.

Then, rave about all the good things that are unfolding and showing up in your life. Fall asleep each evening and wake up each morning, raving about all the magnificent and splendid things in your life now. From the beauty of the trees, the compliment from the stranger, the job you do have, food you eat, choices you DO get to make, the synchronicities, feeling the grass under your feet, credit extended from credit companies, solutions that are revealed, the transportation that gets you from one point to another, the blue sky, everything. Luxuriate in appreciation, raving directly to the Presence.

These three practical tools give you something to focus on so you get out of God s way, and stop complaining, worrying, fixing, struggling, and working so hard because it s too heavy to lift. These tools also elevate your own vibration and keep you open to receive. Letting the Divine do the heavy lifting is a choice to live a more expansive life filled with fun, laughter, money, creativity, love, freedom, joy and much more. No matter how your life is shifting and changing it will serve you to accept that there are, many, aspect to your experiences that are simply God s business to handle. This will free you up to focus on letting go because it is too heavy for your small self to handle. Trust me, when you let go and let the Divine do the heavy lifting, things go great in your absence.

New Zealand’s state broadcaster plans to dismiss 160 workers

Tuesday, February 27, 2007

The state broadcaster of New Zealand, Television New Zealand (TVNZ), has announced its plans to fire at least 160 people because they have falling revenue, mainly from their NZ$9.3 million advertising loss.

A memorandum, or “memo”, was circulating the 1,100 employer, TVNZ yesterday from CEO, Rick Ellis, which stated that their “guesstimate” of job losses was around 130-160. 50 of the job losses will be from the news and current affairs department, where a total of 350 people currently work. The numbers are not set in stone, according to a spokesperson for TVNZ.

The lay-offs have been expected since late last year where he announced it to a parliamentary select committee.

The union which represents some of the staff working at TVNZ, Engineering Printing and Manufacturing Union, said that some of the staff are asking themselves how TVNZ will be able to start and manage the new digital 24 hour news channel with fewer staff. They are seeking to talk to TVNZ.

In two weeks time, staff will be asked what they think of the proposed changes, which also includes a top level management restructuring.

Steve Mahery, broadcasting minister, said, “The restructuring of TVNZ is an operational issue, and I expect they’ll meet their charter requirements. How they structure the company to achieve this is entirely up to them.”

United States Senator Jeff Flake announces retirement, citing ‘profoundly misguided’ party politics

Friday, October 27, 2017

Arizona Senator Jeff Flake announced on Tuesday he will not seek reelection when his term in the Senate is up next year, citing issues within the United States Republican Party and with President Donald Trump, whose behavior he called “reckless, outrageous, and undignified.” The Trump administration said Flake had poor support among his constituency.

In a speech on the floor of the Senate, Flake said, “The notion that one should stay silent as the norms and values that keep America strong are undermined and as the alliances and agreements that ensure the stability of the entire world are routinely threatened by the level of thought that goes into 140 characters — the notion that one should say and do nothing in the face of such mercurial behavior is ahistoric and,” he said, “I believe, profoundly misguided.” He later added on CNN’s The Lead, “It’s difficult to move forward in a Republican primary if you have been critical of any of the behavior that’s gone on[…] We Republicans certainly can’t countenance that kind of behavior. We ought to stand up and say ‘This is not right. This is not us. This is not conservative.’?”

“Based on the lack of support he has from the people of Arizona, [retirement]’s probably a good move,” White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told the media. Recent polls showed Flake has limited popularity with Republicans in Arizona.

Last year President Trump told other Arizona politicians he planned to personally spend US$10 million to see that Flake did not win the Republican primary, the intra-party election that names the party’s official candidate. About two months ago Trump tweeted in support of Flake’s rival for the primary nod, Kelli Ward, “Great to see that Dr. Kelli Ward is running against Flake Jeff Flake, who is WEAK on borders, crime and a non-factor in Senate. He’s toxic!”

Republican Senators John McCain and Bob Corker, who have also been critical of President Trump, stood and clapped at the end of Flake’s floor speech. Corker later called Flake a “real conservative.” Republican Senator Susan Collins of Maine described herself as deeply disappointed by Flake’s decision. Republican Senator John Cornyn and Democratic Senator Tim Kaine referred to it as “sad” and “depressing.”

Kaine commented, “When someone as good and decent a person as Jeff Flake does not think he can continue in the body, it’s a very tragic day for the institution.”

Flake has recently published a book, Conscience of a Conservative: A Rejection of Destructive Politics and a Return to Principle, in which he criticizes what he sees as Trump’s negative effect on the tone of United States politics. Politically, Flake has differed from President Trump on trade and immigration, specifically the Trans-Pacific Partnership and the North American Free Trade Agreement, with Flake in favor of both agreements and Trump against. Flake also co-authored a 2013 law that would have given undocumented immigrants a path to citizenship if it had passed. Trump is in the early stages of building a wall on the U.S.–Mexico border in an attempt to prevent people from entering the U.S. illegally and has issued three executive orders limiting immigration from specific countries, though these were later blocked.

United States senators serve six-year terms. One third of the Senate is elected or reelected every two years.

Property Investments For Anyone Building Wealth}

Submitted by: Peter Kenny

One of the most troublesome concerns for those considering property investments is having the necessary knowledge to make quality decisions regarding a topic they may not know a lot about. Instead of shying away from property investment methods, though, those looking to build wealth should focus on this area. The underline fact is that anyone that has a basic knowledge of investment and the willingness to learn can take full advantage of the many real estate investments available today.

What You Do Not Need To Do

Today, there are plenty of investment methods available to you in terms of real estate investing. You do not have to purchase a piece of land and either sit on it to see a rise in its value nor do you have to work on building and developing that property to see a profit. These things do take time, money and larger risk than is necessary. When you invest in property through property options, for example, you minimize your risk substantially. There are also things you do not have to do.

1. You do not have to manage the overall business of running the property.

2. You do not have to handle the costly repairs to the property to see a profit.

3. You do not have to invest a lot of your money into the real estate in the hopes of seeing a profit.

4. You do not have to invest a lot of time in your property in the hopes that the value will rise in the long term.

5. You do not have to invest your time in learning the business of running rental property, or real estate in general.

When you consider property options, you have plenty of opportunity without a lot of investment at all.

Getting Started In Investments

Anyone considering building wealth needs to take into consideration the many benefits that can and do come to those that invest in real estate. They need to realize the true benefits of security and value that come from property investing over other types of investing. Getting started does not have to be difficult. Most importantly, getting started in the business of real estate does not have to be costly. You do not need a large amount of money to get started and that means that anyone can find themselves in the position to build wealth securely through real estate without risking a lot at all.

For those considering wealth building through property investing, it pays to take the time to gather facts and information. It is also helpful to understand the overall process of property investing. If you do decide to go through property options as your method of investing, take the time to learn the business of doing so. You will find that in terms of securities, stocks and other types of investments, that property options can really help you to make it without causing you to break the bank in the process.

Realize too that plenty of people that have a huge stake in property investing right now, including big name celebrity investors have used property options as the way in and the way up the ladder. Nothing is too complex, but everything is a potential or a gold mine.

Real estate investing should be something you consider, from day one of investing.

BBC spends £3.4m on sell-off

Friday, June 27, 2008

Newspaper The Guardian reports today that the sale of the BBC subsidiary BBC Resources Ltd., has cost £3.4m in consultancy fees — over £1m more than the £2.3m trading profit the commercial division is estimated to have made for the last financial year. Details of the failed privatisation were released by the BBC following a freedom of information request, and prior to publication of its annual report on July 8.

Fourteen months after advisers were appointed to try to sell BBC Resources Ltd., only one of the three main business units has been sold — its Outside Broadcast division to Satellite Information Services Limited (SIS), for an estimated £20m. On March 7, 2008 it was also announced that the studios operation would remain in BBC ownership and in early June, the fate of the third business was put on hold with the BBC stating that “like Studios, Post Production will remain within BBC Resources, which will continue to operate as a wholly-owned commercial subsidiary of the BBC.”

BBC Resources Ltd. made an operating profit of £6.1m for 2005-06, down from £7.4m the year before, with the BBC accounting for 83.3% of its turnover, down from 87.4% for 2004-05. Last year’s published figure for 2006-07 was £5.2 million — with BBC business at 80% of turnover.

BECTU Assistant General Secretary Luke Crawley is quoted as saying: “It’s fairly outrageous that around half the profit of the company [announced last year] has been spent trying to sell it. It’s an inordinate amount of money. The BBC was promised big returns if it sold BBC Resources but it’s only managed to sell outside broadcasts and we do not know how much it made out of that. We think the £3.4m is a poor investment.”
